Festival of Trees

October 17, 2015 @ 8:00 am - December 3, 2015 @ 5:00 pm

Every Ability Plays Project was very grateful to be a part of the Festival of Trees 2015 that benefits the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation which benefits children with disabilities or with sport injuries all over New Mexico. On October 17th, 2015, we had our first decorating ornament event at La Ladera Park with family, friends and two young adults from Casa Angelica. La Ladera Park is a very good start to serving children with all abilities. We still need a very long way to go.

On November 2nd, 2015, we had the children from Loma Linda Community Center after school program helping us decorate our ornaments for our second events getting ready for the Festival of Trees.

I want to thank my cousin in-law, Erin, for coming up with these event ideas. They were very amazing. If it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t have done them.

On December 3rd, Erin decorated our little Christmas tree at the convention center. Hannah helped mommy decorate! I watched!
