Nestor Tarango is the CEO of Solar Works Energy, a residential and Commercial solar contractor with operations in El Paso, TX., Salt Lake City, UT., and headquartered in Albuquerque, N.M. Nestor is an 18 year solar veteran, a native of Albuquerque, and an MBA graduate from the University of New Mexico.
Solar Works Energy employs over 120 people and has nearly doubled every year over the last 3 years. Panasonic has awarded Solar Works the “Southwest’s Installer of the Year” award for both 2020 and 2021, and the “Fastest Growing Installer” of 2019.
Nestor has served on the Board of Directors for EAPP since 2014 and loves using his skills to help organizations reach their peak performance. Nestor firmly believes in EAPP’s mission to empower children of all abilities. It is a cause that is close to his heart. Nestor is also the Founder of EAPP’s first cousin!
In his free time, Nestor enjoys reading and playing with his children.
