Grant Writing Assistance

Description

We need volunteers to help with finding and applying for grants to help pay for our projects. Our Current Projects: We-Go Swing for Casa Agelica Casa Angelica is an intermediate care facility in Albuqerque that provides therapy services, educational support, and social activities for children and young adults with developmental disabilities. One of EAPP’s upcoming projects is purchasing a We-Go-Swing for Casa Angelica’s residents. This swing is a specialized, adaptive swing, that allows individuals who need the full support of their wheelchair to swing along side their peers, and is a perfect example of the type of inclusive play EAPP hopes to be able to provide to all individuals impacted by disability. Cost of the Project: $80,000 Accessible Playground for Colinas del Norte Colinas del Norte is a public school in Rio Rancho that helps to serve some of New Mexico’s medically complex and medically fragile students, but does not currently have any adaptive playground equipment. We hope to be able to partner with Colinas del Norte to create a more inclusive playground so that all their students can enjoy recess and other outdoor activities at school. Cost of the Project: $340,000

Donate to EAPP so that we can help other wonderful projects like this.
